ok here goes i have the leather to do a CoP that i am going to wear under my tunic. another good piece of reference material is "The Sutton Hoo Ship Burial and Armor during the Vendel Period" by Olle Cederlöf, which is in The journal of Arms and Armour Society, Vol. 1, No.9, March 1955
