For sale - Knotwolf Kettle Hat
Last year sometime I did some trading and got a hold of a second Knotwolf helmet. I had intended to put together a second kit but with spring camping season coming up fast I find myself in need of a tent more than I need a helm. I passed the helm on to Rich to refurb it and he has it up for sale (he...

Re: Proto type early hilt/ pommel from Hessen iron
This is very nice
If you want to set yours apart from the others currently on the market (and possible shed a tiny bit of weight), consider doing some chisel work to add 'inlay'
Even simple vertical lines on the quillion would look really nice IMO (its what I am doing to the By My Hand pommel)

First time for everything.....research frustration!
Over the years I have researched a fair number of things and have never been so frustrated as I am trying to track down useful info on these early period Rus helms. When I was researching the Valsgarde/Vendel (and other Germanic cultures) I guess I was spoilt in that most of the available info was n...

Its more of an artistic licence thing than a period example

Re: Calontir Crown List- betting has begun
I suspected it would be either Donngal or Lucian While none of the men on the list should be taken lightly, these two men are machines on the field. While I would have preferred Donngal be victorious, I was happy to see Lucian win. It meant I didn't have to schlep stuff around for the next few month...

What are the chances of changing the hole pattern for an order or two?
Id only want one set of holes changed (a single hole slightly larger on the flat edge) if it matters
And BTW, these are very nice:)
