There is also a THC show is which several Viking Age weapons are tested vs both standard round shields and the concave Anglo Saxon shields.

It features Kim Siddorn and some lab in the UK.

Sadly, I forget the name of the show.

I'm trying to place an order for one of your aircraft aluminum basket hilts via your website. I get thru the checkout fine (it seems) but then it tells me I have to select a shipping method. I see the section called Shipping Method but there are no options or drop downs. What am I doing wrong? Halv

I don't think I have the info here at work but there was a drawstring pouch found in the Gokstad burial.

Donno if your seeking historical precedence or not (or even what time frame but I'm guessing with your recent infatuation with Normans that this would be close:)

In my experience, it keeps the linen from tearing so easily
Of course now that I have said that, the linen will rip to shit after its first practice:)

Yeah I do the multiple coats of Barges cement too.
First coat went on last night.
If I'm not to beat after practice tonight I will add the second tonight.

Cam, does burlap add any significant weight?
All the bags Ive dealt with were much heavier than linen/canvas.
