Mihangel I have nothing but good things to say about Adrics products and customer service. While it is NOT a complaint, I have noticed after over a month of use and washes that the center point in the crotch has started to come undone in both the pairs of pants I own but that is nothing that I can n...

It was my understanding that it isnt.

Paul

Id avoid any of the newer (in the last 5 yrs or so) PC Viking swords
They look like ass since they went from a single wide fuller to a double narrow fuller.
Why they did that I dont know.

Ive worn naalbound socks and turnshoes for days in the rain/mud and for a weekend in 6 inches of snow that required both normal treking and a combat display in said snow (without pattens.) Looking at pictorial evidence, there are recurves in the Utrecht Psalter and (later) the Bayeux Tapestry. Neither are Scandinavian sources, but they are both western European and from cultures with which a Viking would have have a lot of contact. What are people's thoughts on these bows - composite...

A friend of mine once gifted me with something that I will never be able to repay her for. She did so using images from the BT (I call it the MyZou ...

I was going to scan it in and email it but that might distort the pattern some so I bought a big piece of posterboard last night and I will just make hard copies and mail them to you.

Halvgrimr, did you do much hot work when fitting the panels together? do the panel edges taper, or is there a square edge? do we know if any sort o solder would be period? like a strip of tin, or brass to help fill in any surface irregularities? Re the bottom

You arent dealing with just one overlap using the method I used
You are dealing with an overlap that overlaps 5-6 other overlaps (where the panels come together)

THOSE are the real bitch when it comes to making the pot 'water tight' IMO
