So is it better to do the expanding row method commonly used for coifs as opposed th the panel-and-triangle method as described in TOMAR? I've just gotten started so I am not commited to any method yet.

I have to ask; what size socket wrench did you use? I did the same thing with a bastard sword, single hand sword, and my 7.5 ft Persuader.

They all look great...now I have to redo my 6 ft polearms!

In Northshield minimum length for fiberglass spear is 9 ft. Friend of mine mane a nice 6 footer out of fiberglass, and he can't use it. Lamellar: Love it. It works cover or uncovered. I have a lamellar harness built from plates from Polar Bear Forge. Jamie is great to work with and quick to respond to questions. On e of the beautiful aspects of lamellar is it's wide variety, ease of construction, ease of repair (if it ever needs it)...
