LOL Yeah, the right boot has buckles and the left has laces. I bet they were bagged in Pakistan that way. Other than that, they look great, but i'd feel a bit on the dork-side if I walked around with one buckled and one laced boot. I'll try to get a pic posted today. I wasn't sure if I should contac...

I didn't try them on though. Left boot is the laced 14th c. boot Right boot is the buckle 14th c. boot anyone mis...

+1 Take your helm to your next eye exam, an d look at Rec-Specs. I got a pair, dismantled them, and attached them to the inside of the bargrill on my White Mountain Armoury Kettle Helm. I got the Photo-Grey lenses, too. I have shade, and can see great...little issue with fogging when playing indoors...

Tandyleatherfactory.com, or one of their stores, is about the easiest way to get vegetable tanned leather. Basically, if it's colored already, it most likely is chromium tanned. If it looks like skin, beigey tan, sorta, it's most likely vegetable tanned. Tandy provides accurate descriptions and the ...

Socket Wrench Pommel
Here are a few pics of the pommel on my bastard sword. This one happens to be a 32mm Duracraft socket wrench, I beleive was about $6.00. This one is pressed on over a thick wrap of duct tape a bit of epoxy...hasn't moved in the three years i've had it.

Review: Completed Whonew Wisby Gauntlet Kit
Just completed my set of Whonew gauntlets. Did a trade and he sent me the plates. I did a little cutting and grinding, but overall the fit and finish are what I was expecting. They move well, are a tad heavy, being 16 gaa mild steel, but are going to be great for two-handed weapon combat. I have fing...

Excellent! If I can get someone to spray coffee milk or tea, nasal ejection preferred, but a good verbal spray will be accepted, my day will be complete. Just cause I looked at the Historic Enterprises site, at the braies and chausses, I am wondering if these might be offered in corresponding Chubb...
