I just finished two 38 oz bottels. As usual, they're hand sewn from veg tanned leather with linen thread. These bottels, however, are lined inside with Envirotex. I think it's safe, but there are those who worry because it hasn't been FDA approved as "food safe" for constant contact. It HA...

No- they're just a single layer of linen. This is definitely NOT usable as rapier armor.
