Switching from heater to center grip sucks

For years, I've fought with a heater shield. Every time I've used sword and board it's been with the trusty old shield I first authorized with. Unfortunately my fighting hit a plateau, and I'm not getting any better. So, as I make a persona shift back to Viking (I'll be Thorgrimr here again soon) I ...

I don't buy from them on ebay, though- they're only a few miles from my house. :D I go down to the shop and paw through his furs and leathers. It's where I get all my deer, elk, and other soft leathers.

grey wool 4-panel hat w/ coyote trim

Here's a hat from a commission that fell through. It's made for a 26" head, but I can still wear it with a 24" head- It just goes al the way down over my ears (which would be really good on a cold day!) The price for this hat is $35 plus shipping. As always I gladly take PayPal at m_kreitz...

Sorry for taking so long with an update. I just got back online. I just got off a seven day stretch at work, with some doubles thrown in for good measure- It seems like everyone and their brother decided to call off this past week. Probably something to do with good weather, holidays, etc... Anyhow,...

Bottel run update

I have about half of them sewn, I'll be working on the other half this weekend. I may be unable to update much for a few days- I'm having trouble with my internet connection- (I'm at work right now). I did a wipe and reinstall and I can't get my 'puter to recognize my ethernet card :x .

I actually use a mixture of pitch cut with a bit of wax- I tend to get better results with this, with less of a piney scent.

Michael, whats the next time you could make a larger costrel? Meaning greater then 32 oz. ? And just how much extra would lining it in Envirotex cost? What would you want to avoid putting in the pitch/wax lined costrels? Thanks, Christian It'll be a few weeks before I could do that (unless I shuffl...

Envirotex is a two part epoxy that is approved for use in incidental food contact. It's typically used on bar tops and table tops. The FDA hasn't approved it for this use because of the variables involved in mixing a two part product (that's what I'm given to understand, anyway). I could possibly be...

Too damn bad Envirotex isn't FDA approved. I don't have an issue using it for myself, but I don't want to potentially get sued, ya know?

26 oz costrel

Here's the prototype for my "premium" costrel line. It's hand sewn with linen thread from veg tanned leather, sealed outside with wax and inside with pitch. The stopper is carved from cherry and sealed with wax. It differs from my normal line by having a wider, more historical stitch lengt...
