If you'd be happy with a thinner leather, then I can do it. I don't have any more 8-11 oz leather left- only some 6-8 oz stuff. It wouldn't effect the function any (and as a matter of fact would probably result in a slightly higher capacity due to more stretch in the leather).

We tried this at practice today- I liked it. It let the fight flow more cleanly, and didn't require that any more blows be struck than I would have had to land anyway.

Hot drinks are a definite no-no. As for cleaning, I just flush with water after each use and let dry with the stopper out.
