Re: Any intrest in my "Carlos the Crusader" helm kit?

Paladin,

I think I have everything set up. My shop is portable, so my place or yours or somewhere else for this project?

I can drive down to Rockville and pick you up if you like!

Hi Wade and John,

That was fun! I learned a lot about armouring in that short visit. Nick got tired of walking around on his crutches, but we enjoyed the event.

yeah, I see them falling prey to combat archers about 1 second after "lay on". Means they need a little speaker that yells "light!" when hit The Atlantian version of the Drone Marshal (DM) will be an armed Predator drone. I think Pennsic would go completely sober and chaste before the Tuchux would leave. The Tuchux are a perk of going to Pennsic. I liked every Tuchux I met.

Hi Paladin,

I was just thinking that could be a good DIY option for the ACL groups. I was not asking to change this order.

Late 12th or early 13th.

That sounds very possible to me.

I think Hal likes holding off on payment until right before shipping.

Spring stainless would greatly increase the price, and the effort needed to make helm, however the durability would be astounding.

Now, what sort of armour and clothing would go with the Carlos the Crusader helmet?

And...will you end up cutting out the Carlos the Crusader parts in spring stainless for those ACL members who want a helmet that is thick (14 ga overlaped is 7 ga) and protective with a full face?

I think you are prone to pricing low, and that may be no accident. You are an artist, and you tend to like to suffer for art. I remember you built a helmet for me just for picking you up at the airport, feeding you and letting you sleep on the floor when I lived in Lakewood, Washington.

Exactly!

While it is fun to hold the final product, I think that the reason armourers hire their insanely great skills out for fry-cook wages is that there is an addiction to creating things. The journey is so much fun!

I look forward to your visit!

Re: Any intrest in my "Carlos the Crusader" helm kit?

Paladin, Armouring is an addiction. I have not armoured for almost two years. I NEED to armour. I've searched for SOMETHING to make. Even though I have no time to fight right now, I've searched for patterns to make SOMETHING but it always seemed like a waste to make armour that would never be worn. ...
