Well, Christopher Starling is ONE out of the 15 outstanding.

I'm surprised nobody else posted.

Frankly one order outstanding (and half-filled) isn't a horrible track record.

What is the rest of the order Brand needs to fill out?

Good Morning,

Does anyone have any pictures of Samurai in the SCA?

Both in and out of heavy fighting.

Help?

Thanks.

Does anyone have any examples of somebody with an SCA legal

Does anyone have any examples of somebody with an SCA legal Samurai outfit?

I haven't found a really good one yet, used in heavy combat...but I KNOW people have done good ones (Effingham for example), but I haven't seen pictures yet.

Help?

I would blow $2000 for her birthday gift, no problem. It's all mild steel (except for that stainless goret)? Is ...

Jester, Thank you for the assist. Yes, I was talking about MERELY Combat Archery (CA) events. If there isn't an archer on the field, you'd go back to the old 1960's SCA rules. To avoid Animial doing "field fluting" on everyone's steel armour.... "...Free hand-crafted fluting here!! You don't even ne...

The Medieval Nobility Solution to Combat Archery

Howdy! There was a Medieval Nobility solution to Combat Archery. Perhaps we should use it when we fight melees with Combat Archery. 16 gauge steel plate is proof vs arrows AND swords (one handed). The end result would be our nobility (Dukes, Kings, Barons, etc…) would end up armouring up in st...

In melees the only luck I've had is against the archers, so I'm all for them. I killed three just because I can run the 8 minute mile for a LONG period of time with 100 pounds on me. It sounds like you might have been concentrating on gripping the haft a little too much, and not loosenig your hand at all as you threw shots. When you're using a sword the result for that tends to be very slow, clubbing shots without much reach, instead of good fast snaps . When you're doing this,...

If you're working on something, we'd like to be in on it. What is your asking price, and can we come down and help?

Linen vs Cotton vs Moving Blanket arming coats question

Which is best, and WHY?

Which one is the best to fight in?

Which one is the most correct for late 1500s England (or Germany)?

Which one is the most expensive?

Who makes the best arming coats?

Who makes the cheapest arming coats?

Thank you for your help,

The offer still stands Effingham. I like your site, but on CD would be best (so one could open up those pictures, etc...) with pre-cut-out paper patterns included.

Do I raise or lower the price to fit your needs?
