It would be nice if the photos and videos were uploaded somewhere other than Facebook. I assume they look nice.
BotN training in Philidelphia was a lot of fun, but next time I'm dragging my son or daughter along to take photos, etc... Or just do photography myself.

OK, this is amazing. Sadly I don't have the room or time or skill to armour. That there isn't somebody firing up the rocketcar up to get this stuff is shocking.

Thanks!
Could you PM me your phone number and/or e-mail? I would like to look at buying semi-fluted full legs in spring-stainless from you. BTW, you were HIGHLY talked about at the Eastern Practice for BotN. Your reputation is stellar.
With thanks,

So far I've looked in Colorado, New Mexico, Virginia and Maryland and have had no luck.

Re: Went to BotN Regional Practice for the Eastern Region
Thanks! It was a good time, and I plan on returning better prepared than I was on Saturday. One odd thing is that I only have bruises on my left side. One on the base of my thumb (holding the pollaxe too hard) One on my elbow (bad fit for the arm harness) Several on my bicepts (strap burn) Several o...

I looked around and could not buy a US Army chinstrap. Really. Couldn't find it at Ft. Meade, or Kirtland AFB or Quantico.

Went to BotN Regional Practice for the Eastern Region
Hi, It was good overall. I learned a lot. My injuries are mostly self-inflicted and recoverable. I learned I can bounce off of AstroTurf ten or twenty times with minimal concerns due to my armour. My armour must be upgraded and fit better, but it does protect me well. There is a nasty strap burn on ...

You and your family are a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the visit. If I get back out that way again, I will enjoy a second visit. Thank you for allowing me to engage in my joy of gardening. Pictures of Perf-Plates
Hi, I'm looking for pictures of perf-plates in helmets. My wife and eldest daughter both fence, and I'd like to join them in the backyard for fencing. Maureen has a fencing helmet and I'm green with envy. And I know the beautiful chapel-de-fer I have for my "flight" kit would make for a great dual-u...

Chin Strap Ideas, Again?
Hi, Thankfully, my chin-strap busted last night. It was a good thing because I was effectively trapped in my helmet. It was a bad thing because my fighting stopped for the evening. It was a good thing because I enjoyed the cool evening air that only the desert can provide once I'd gotten the helmet ...

Re: SCA fighting in Albuquerque?
That was a lot of fun! Yep, my chin strap busted, but it was for the best IMO. I strapped the helm wrong, and while the helm is very safe strapped that way, I can't easily get out of my helm. :( I'll be buying a DoD chinstrap today and asking Brennainn to strap the helm for a small fee. Helm chin st...

Yay!
BTW, TSA was very amused by my chapel-de-fer with mail drape. It's obvious they looked at it, and the gauntlets and gorget. It was a source of amusement with me to see the helm shifted from the bottom of the bag to the top.
See you soon!

Hi,
It's still "game on" for Albuquerque, and I've packed up my "flight suit" and found that it weighs a tad more than I thought. But I'll be there, with armour!
Time to PM everybody my phone number, etc...
See you on Wednesday!
Thanks!

Totally cool story, and YES I do not want vices on my calves, and my calves are huge already. The casts I sent might work, maybe. If he says otherwise, I'll set up a different system as per the advice here.
Thanks!
