Raising is when you force the metal down over a ball stake. Raising is better because you have more control over the thi...

No Problem, The HF shears are plenty durable though, Youd be better off getting one and spending the rest of your 5-6 hundred dollars youll spend on a B2, on a Grizzly 2X72 belt sander, then you could cut metal AND finish it for the same money Have a good weekend Pitbull Haha thats funny my cousin ...

Re: Linseed oil to protect mild steel maille?

Why wouldn't one use linseed oil, raw or boiled to protect maille? Boiled would dry out and form a hard film, that could be retouched periodically with more boiled linseed oil... Has anyone tried this on mild steel? Glaukos Super sticky dude. I was just using it a couple weeks back. I bet just tryi...

Fluid Film on mail???

I'm pretty sure it will be ok if I use FF on my mail but just wanted to make sure before I actually spray it. Just wondered if you guys had any comments about using FF.

Don't try to make me to use WD-40 because I've heard I shouldn't use it.

Thanks for your time.

The big thing to remember is that there has been an inversion: Historically, the material was expensive, and labor was cheap. Today, the material is plentiful, but labor is expensive as hell. You know I'm wondering how expensive it was back then. I just spent $203 on 15,000 rings and rivets which i...

Those helms were also quite tall. This most likely comes from far east influence.
