I will tell you, the biggest help with doing these is the stitching awl that i use. I use an awl with a jerk needle to do these. They are quite hard to find but work extremely well for this type of shoe covering. I do plan on making a few pair of these for some friends while i am on my leave for my ...

K. That is a pretty substantial piece of leather. You have a price range in mind? I don't typically do body armor as far as chests and back pieces but there are others here who do. Dark horse custom leather can get you some extremely nice stuff if Magnus isn't too busy at the moment. He does top not...

if i ever buy another Rus helm it will be from Aesir I have seen multiples of his rus helms and they are the best ones out there in my opinion. a bit pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Kit as of last summer. The greaves, elbows and knees have been replaced (shaped schynbalds, rondel elbows and knees with dags), and I have a klappvisor. None of these have been debuted on the field yet though. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i182/azommin/kt_zpsb4a30310.jpg O.o beautifully done!

This was my kit at GW this year. I have other fighting cloths but this is the tunic i wear when fighting with the Gleann Abhann army during Melees.
