i don't own any of his stuff, but i have friends who do and i have helped assemble some of his beds/benches. They all look amazing and the craftsmanship is amazing!
If you haven't seen it you should check out the ice chest he made. WOW!

what are the gambesons made of? Im willing to make you one just wanted to know how they were made and what they are made from. Very interested...Have about 4 locals needing gear and those would be a nice start.

From a guy that has seen this helm up close and personal...it is one of the most bad ass kettle helms i have seen. The bar bottom allows so much visibility and the quality is top notch.

I have never had any problem taking a spear thrust with my lamellar. The only padding i wear under it is a gambeson that i made with canvas, cotton, and linen. I'm also about 5'10" and right in at about 180lbs and my lamellar took about 225 plates total, but i imagine it depends on the size of ...
