I can make some for you if interested. I make mine with wax hardened leather. They are quite sturdy and have worked for me quite well.

yea i can't remember who told me that but i am about 99% sure it wasn't a marshal. :/ wish i could be more help. It is quite an amazing and inventive looking weapon though.

If that is considered a composit weapon, I was told it is not allowed in Gleann Abhann. But i don't think the person who told me that was a marshal so i couldn't say for sure. Looks awesome though and i would have no issue fighting against something like that.

have to say Gulf wars this year. My first really large event, got to fight with so many people, saw a knighting ceremony, and got to hang out with great friends. Also brought home quite a few funny stories and experiences.

not sure i have enough leather for legs, but you could make some good ones out of plastic barrel if you don't mind wearing them under your fighting pants.

I can make you some gaunts for less than that if you are interested. i can do standard half gaunts and then i can do the ones that i attach to the gloves. If interested PM me and we can work out the details. and i have never heard of a gorget getting bounced for being water hardened and not wax hard...
