Ahhh! Yes. It's an arming coat, not one of his lightweight ones. It's quilted/padded. That's kinda hard to tell in the picture.

How about if I go $300 on the ringmaille, shipped (Con US)?
$85 for the gambeson, shipped (Con US)?

No, I did not buy the set up package. The only other thing I bought was the ridge pole sleeve. Which I DEFINATELY suggest you get. Below is my diagram of how I made my ridge pole. It has never broken in the 6 years of use. Does Blockade Runner sell the ridge pole sleeves? I need something like that...

Looks like shipping would run about $10, or $15 for priority.
I'm not sure how you want me to measure how thick it is. It's not like a winter coat. It's quilted, so it's thicker than a sweatshirt or a normal shirt, but I wouldn't say it's like a comforter.

Thank you, I'm really looking forward to receiving the crusader. I have a major sanding/polishing & embellishment project planned for it. Is it mild steel or one of Hjalmr's stainless works? I only ask so I know how many cobalt drill bits to order.... I'm pretty sure it's mild steel. I took a p...

I'm still clearing some stuff out to pay for and make room for new armour. Next is an Ice Falcon gambeson, size XXXL (up to 60" chest). It fits but I have a custom gambeson now that I like more. It's never been used. I bought it on sale for $90 plus shipping. I'm hoping to get $80 (plus shippi...

FS -- Leather Ringmaille and Gambeson
I'm still clearing some stuff out to pay for and make room for new armour. First I have a Ringmaille Jack made by the guys at Merc's Tailor. It's "custom" in that it's light grey swede as opposed to the standard brown or black that they offer. It helps that I'm good friends with their leat...

I've been in the market for an onion top klapvisor. This is very tempting though. It's also a bit large for me (I never thought I'd have that problem!). The Russian helm is awesome. I've been thinking about making a mask like that for myself for a while now. I've done a lot more work with bar stock ...

Re: FS: Blued Fluted Gothic Style Legs for BIG Man
Greaves:
21.5" at the largest point
13.75" at the smallest
13" tall.
That's measured around the outside, so they won't have that much space inside because they overlap inside, and thickness of the steel, etc.
All of the parts are mild steel.

I'd be interested in another brig gorget, but one that isn't quite so tall. I ordered one from you about 2 months ago, and I can use it, but I can't tilt my head forward or backward much with it on. Not sure if there's a way to "articulate it" with leather or not, so that the collar part i...

I'd throw the pauldrons in for another $75. They're very nice, with some very well done fluting that gives them a bat/dragon wing shape. I'll try to get a picture posted up once my camera is recharged. I'd also be willing to throw in the greaves for another $50. They're not fluted, but they're full ...

These are rather old, but very rarely used. Most of the scuffs on them is from moving them, not from combat, but they have seen 1 session of SCA heavy and a couple sessions of boffer fighting. They were originally made by Darkheart Armoury (part of the 2-years-late armour he did for me), but they've...

I'm having the same problem. Can't see pictures.
The last 3 things I need before I start upgrading what I have is (splinted) vambraces, (splinted) rerebraces and (splinted) cuisses, so this could get one of those items out of the way.
