No, I did not buy the set up package. The only other thing I bought was the ridge pole sleeve. Which I DEFINATELY suggest you get. Below is my diagram of how I made my ridge pole. It has never broken in the 6 years of use. Does Blockade Runner sell the ridge pole sleeves? I need something like that...

Looks like shipping would run about $10, or $15 for priority.
I'm not sure how you want me to measure how thick it is. It's not like a winter coat. It's quilted, so it's thicker than a sweatshirt or a normal shirt, but I wouldn't say it's like a comforter.

All the hardware (including the hinges) on everything is steel.

They do look brass in the picture...

Greaves:
21.5" at the largest point
13.75" at the smallest
13" tall.

That's measured around the outside, so they won't have that much space inside because they overlap inside, and thickness of the steel, etc.

All of the parts are mild steel.
