Is that 12' around the base, or 12' in diameter? The former would be more in the form of a tepee, the other a tent.

I'm attempting to tailor an existing hauberk and my hands are sore after only a few hours at it. Can't see me doing that all day every day, nope, no way, no how.

Sorry, Dig. And you're right, Kon - but I am by nature an impatient man so no, I did not become proficient. I do not own any power tools so twirling by hand was my only option. I was a good deal poorer back then so I worked a lot more to compensate; mailing parties with hospitality? First I heard of...

Wire and steel rods are common at every ACE Hardware store. Hammers and jigsaws are readily available, probably more than leather-working tools. Have you ever attempted to make maille in that manner? I've tried my hand at weaving maille in small batches just to get a feel for it; don't know about y...

These are pretty cheap and make levelling the weapon easy enough with a single point of contact with the wall.

Not surprised that this didn't sit long...I got the chance to fire a box of rounds through one and found it to be a very user-friendly pistol. So much so that I would've gotten this one for the wife had it still been available- she much preferred it over the 380 I was looking to acquire from Erik (w...

I doubt most fanboys intend on entering any battlefields or melees; they just want to look the part so it doesn't have to be up to spec, so to speak. And if they do well...that's a lesson they'll not soon forget, no?

Paladin, I understand. That decision came about very quickly, so to be honest a...

Congratulations, Erik. For my part, I would have liked a lead-up to this if only to place my CoP order (have a used one, wanted a new one made just for me) but I can't in good conscience hold it against you. Follow that dream man...or you'll wish you had.
Best of luck, man.
