Re: FS Merctailor Arms w/ Integral Spaulders

As always, I can't recommend AL enough. I have a pair of these arms, and love them. And this set is a steal at that price! I feel exactly the same...I don't have these particular arms, but I've owned and currently own enough pieces by him to feel comfortable in extolling the quality, not to mention...

I'd settle for a true review, Insane. But I don't take issue with the others who have come forward to defend Bokalo's...its refreshing, to be honest. I've seen where a merchant gets dog-piled for an admittedly bad transaction and business suffers as a result- when the merchant is at fault, that's ho...

BJ Boyce, a young seamstress in WVa I believe...I am in the process of finalizing my first commission with her but I've seen her work before and it is nice...and won't burn a hole in your pocket. She also makes bags it would seem. In any case, good luck.

Re: Anyone making wooden shields?

Try these guys: http://www.oakheartarmory.com - I've used them in the past and they make good shields w/out gouging the pockets. They'll also paint your arms (if you have any) or whatever device you want on it for a nominal upcharge. They'll also strap it any way you want.

Andrea, Bruce is/was the designer for MRL- most, if not all of the swords you see are 'battle ready', a rather ubiquitous term if you ask me. In any case, I have a few of them, they are well made and for the price, a steal more or less.

I echo Zubeydah's sentiment- they are definitely beautiful. Prettiest ones I've ever seen, in fact. It just so happens I am in need of a feast/eating knife...using your hands all the time seems somewhat barbaric, even for me.
