A b2 shear. A stump. Any and all tools Halberds makes. A quality drill and good bits. I really think a good selection of stakes are more useful than a shiny new anvil, at least in the beginning. They are who I bought replacement blades from for my buddies b2. The blades came in a small box with the Beverly Shear logo on it so I presume they aren't knockoffs. I don't know if they ship overseas but it would be worth asking.

Got a couple PMs so I'll post here. All rivets used are solid brass well peened. From sightline to the bottom of the grill is just a tick over six inches and the grill does pass the one inch dowel test. Feel free to PM me with any questions!

1.5 inches center to center on the rivets which fasten the dome to the curtain. Those rivets are solid brass flat head rivets with a 3 / 16ths diameter shaft peened over solid.

It is much closer fitting I think. The original has an attic. Kind of a rounded Frankenstein look. I may play with this more if I make another. Spangens are fun. I wish I tried one before. I'd like to try a conical spangen next.

I like the idea of a face but fear the helmet is too close fitting to accommodate one. I'll have a better idea once I make the cheeks. I apologize for the lack of progress. Frigid outdoor temps, no garage and a nasty lingering head cold have been holding me back.

I wear mine under an aluminum coat of plates and love it. Other fighters here wear it as their primary torso protection which I personally wouldn't do.
