Jon I totally agree with what you are saying. I for one will attend such classes and look forward to them. I also think that teaching from manuals is a great idea. Last I heard the SEM has allowed historical studies, even with rebatted steel at half speed, in class room enviroment. I think it is pretty obvious why greater than full speed is allowed at this time. So...

I usually use Gorilla glue when curving a shield but I have had problems with the expansion splitting the wood on occasion. I haven't tried the Titebond yet but for a doming operation where you are making a complex curve you probably would get better result with that. Atleast that's what I think. B...
