Re: LTB: Transitional/Salt-Shaker Helm
That one is 9" front to back and 8" side to side.
It was an old left over from when I was developing helm kits.
I added the butted maile for grins.
I still have this one on the shelf.

Thank you Gaston de Clermont. That means a lot to me, coming from an artisan such as yourself. We will not know the tools worth until Pit Bull gives it a test run. Re: Gas cylinder cap planishing stake
The sand trick works for me.
I plasma torch a hole, fill then weld it shut.
Be sure to vibrate a good long time as the sand will settle.
Do not weld the hole until the sand stops settling.
It works great for pipe cap stakes to take the ring out.

Pit Bull asked me to build an acorn stake. He gave me carte blanche on the design, materials and methods of construction. I was not sure which end of the acorn to build so I made the bottom pointed part. We shall see if he approves or not. Here it is shown with my standard 1” tool holder: PitBullAco...

Thanks for the great links Tom.
That pointed raising elbow stake was cool, gives one ideas, Yes?
Looks like I will have to make a chisel stake to go with the gaunt tools, to help close the roll.
Did you grind on behemoth, and did it arrive safe?
