Re: New to TIG, How too?
I have used both helmets and I like the auto dark model. I quit on my TIG welder, sent the bottle of argon back, and use the Miller for stick welding in the hard to reach areas. I now have the most expensive Miller stick welder on the block. Sorry... but the TIG welder really sucked for me, and I ca...

I prefer the clean burring proprieties of propane. But then again I rarely do any hot work. However... a ho...

Pitbull, the buckle is made from 1/4" rod hammered flat and 18ga. steel folded with a slot cut in the middle. The back tang is welded and ground smooth. This is only my second buckle...

I guess they covered all the known methods, except a light-saber. I busted my knuckles too many times, against the bench vice, while hack sawing rivets. I also use a cut-off-saw with a fixture, for the big 3/8" rivets. But the best thing I found was the bolt cutters. Ya can't go wrong with a good pa...

No, not anymore.
I used a 12 volt 4 way air valve.
Pressure/oiler/filter regulator.
1/4" NPT push fittings for 3/8" plastic tubing.
Elect foot switch.
The rest was hand made.
