Vulg ... I think your best bet is Ulrich. If it doesn't fit it is only a few dollars to cover shipping. No armorer is going to offer you better terms. Your only option is to wait to a major war and pray someone has something you like that fits and is is your price range...odds on that for a bascinet...

One of the reenactor supply places in Australia had riveted chain bishop mantles... aventails for around $100 and wanted more than that for shipping. Four pounds shipped via DHL or UPS would have been around $30?? Hmmmmmm

Put a magnet on it and see if attracts..SS won't attract it. In the condition it is in if it is mild. You won't get that much. Illusion sells those brand new for $125 in mild 14 ga.
