It is at least 18 gauge. I think it is more 16 gauge. I have a 24.5 and can get my head in.

I have a 1950's morion. It was a movie prop helmet. It seems to made out of heavy fiberglass. I have a 16 or 18 gauge german burgonet. This would make a great youth combat helmet or rapier helmet. I had got these as youth combat helms for my son but he wanted to go early period like "DAD" :P Thanks

He sells extra plates to extend the size. Polar Bear is top notch!!

A Illusion Armory fixed grill would be ok also

I wish I could get one of their fixed grill. They have had a bad rep here for a while. No CC or Paypal? I can understand the Paypal. I am looking for a backpoint not a onion top...thanks though for the heads up!

I have a large head and I am looking for a good used bascinet or a new one for around $300. A Illusion Armory fixed grill would be fine too if in good shape.
