Typically, that is exactly what happens at Pennsic. I think the only battle with CA that isn't also a rez is the last field battle.

What does your doc say? Honestly, he knows the extent of your injury best, and if he knows what you do for fun, should be the best one to perscribe a program for rehabbing it.....

A non-SCA group that does on occasion, fight in the SCA, notably at Pennsic.

Their combat rules for their gatherings are different from SCA combat, but they fight SCA rules when they attend SCA events.

Ix tried adding "obsidian chips" of foam to his swords... They never really worked at all. He ended up making wide SCA swords with a fancy tape job. Man, a scythe? That would be tricky to make and use as a weapon... I would think a peasant would probably go for a heavier, easy to use weapo...
