The utility of a trigger, I have found, is two fold. First, it works as a marshal deflector. It satisfies the lanyard requirement. I find that it doesn't work as well, but it works a lot better than nothing at all. I don't have a trigger right now, but when I did have them, I doubled up with a trigg...

I had an awesome time at Pennsic. For the first time ever, my wife came. This made a world of difference to me. I have been to thirteen Pennsic Wars so far, and I have never enjoyed it as much as when my wife was there. I fought my thousand fights, and it sucked, in exactly the right way. I think th...

guys, I am here at my dad's, south of Waco, and I am wondering about any upcoming Central Texas Armour Ins. I promise that my dad knows his way around a shop. I don't know if he has any desire to actually be an armourer, but he is an engineer, and he has used tools I have never heard of. Is one plan...

theatrical prop Carrot's protective - pic
A few months ago I made a humorous codpiece for a play. A lot of you saw my ugly self modeling it. I have gotten a link to pics of the production. If you are interested, here is the actor wearing it. Yes, she's female. I didn't have anything to do with any other props or costumes. Just the codpiece....

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I have heard a couple of tricks for finding the spots that rub or otherwise just don't fit. the ones I hear most often are clean your house in your armor. This usually gives you a good picture of where your armor fits and where it doesn't. It can...

Smoking and old age. Definitely smoking. I smoke (usually) over two packs of camels a day. If I am working, especially at a computer terminal, it can go as high as five packs a day. Is it too early to start talking smack? B Well, Bedlam, I have found that I was able to get inspected every time I showed up in the morning on the field. The field is the big, flat green thing that they hold battles on. As for talking smack, why don't you leave that to the fighters? freiman

Goode Gentles, I wanted to say thank you to the entire Kingdom of Trimaris for the gracious loan of His Grace Sir Baldar this past Neibelungen war. His Grace was charming, ducal and really cool.
