I wonder why I never see Uther and Luther Von Ziemer on the list for Meridies when this thread comes up. I love those guys. When they first started, it was a lot like the WWF comes to the SCA. Age and Marriage had mellowed them by the time I left Meridies in '99. I sometimes think it's a shame that ...

Sir Lee was a relatively private man, at least with me. He was almost unique in the SCA in that he was from a "Mixed marriage". In other words, his wife didn't play SCA, and he did. She didn't go with him to events that I am aware of. He rightly put his family before his hobby, and thus he didn't at...

Master Feral flew in from the East. It really, really means a lot when folks take the trouble to come all the way over here.

It's especially nice when they are particularly cool people, like Feral and Cassandra.

Theatrical prop. Cpl. Carrot's Protective

Guys, I have made a prop for a theatre show. The Show is "Guards! Guards!" by Terry Pratchet, and the prop is a humorous brayette (or codpiece). The instructions were "Make it big, make it embarrassing, make it shiny, make it battered." this is the result. [img]http://img155.exs.cx/img155/118/protec...
