Yeah,

I have never seen a pop rivet really perform well in an armour application. They just aren't the proper tool for the job. They pop.

I have never made a gauntlet, but I do know one rule.

The only rule I know of for making gauntlets is "never make one gauntlet, always make pairs"

Seems like a silly rule, but several people have told me that.
