Hypothetical Question #2 -SCA combat.
My opponent legs me as he is chasing me across the battlefield but almost plows me into the ground as I try to fall to my knees. As my opponent regains his balance, I manage to regain mine and I begin to throw some retaliatory blows. As my opponent turns towards me, he drops his guard to say that he...

Very interesting replies. I wanted to see what everyones initial reaction was before I posted the actual situation: After a long bout, I started attacking my opponent with a flurry of blows in order to break down his defense. At the end of this attack I managed to hit my opponent with two solid blow...

Hypothetical Question -SCA combat!
If I strike my opponant with a flat blow, followed immidiately with a good blow -does he have to accept the good blow? Attaching knee cops to padded pants -SCA
I just finished a pair of padded pants to wear in the SCA as leg armor and I am about to connect a pair of crusader knees to this, but I’m not sure what would be the best way to attach them –what would you recommend. The knees of the pants are padded with ¼â€

I would recommend a shield small enough to move about, but large enough so that you don't have to move it too far -23" x 36" seems about right for you as a starting fighter. You don't want to make a shield so small that you will get beaten into a pulp before you learn the basics, and you also don't ...
