Rawhide edging is the way to go -the stuffs nigh invulnerable. I rivited all of my shields so far (almost a dozen), but i believe I will be stitching my next shield.

I think i fixed the problem (don't ask me how as I just pushed a bunch of these keyboard like buttons until it went away) and I am downloading MS Security Essentials now.
