I like to use shampoo on wool, running the washer on hot wash / warm rinse, dry on med & repeat once or twice.
The wool will felt up beautifully so that some construction that uses unfinished, or lightly finished seams becomes possible

Well in the 12th century you need it alot more. Honestly if i did not have the possibliy of being _forced_ to fight from my knees.
