That's a great looking helm!! I am wearing one of your starter helms and love it! I get a lot of compliments on it too I'm also a combat archer and it provides a great field of vision!

First, it is a great helm but once it was padded 'too tall me' I had a bit too much exposure around the side/back of the neck area (gap from top of gorget to bottom of helm). A couple guys I do armoring nights with and I talked about ideas like adding a camail but I'm really not interested in adding...

I'm throwing around with a couple of ideas for adding a camail to my helm. It seems like everyone automatically brings up chainmaille, but I've seen a small handful who use leather. I'd prefer to use leather as it would go with the rest of my kit.... What I have in mind would cover about 2/3 around,...

The padding and liners are glued in at the moment. I glue the padding in first and then recoat in glue so I can stretch the leather into place. I will test them out and see how it holds up. If I have to stitch the liner in place as well than that will add to the cost of the production models. OMG!!...

There are lacrosse and hockey chest guards made specifically for women. Also, sites like Title Boxing sell female chest protectors, some of which can be inserted into special sports bras.
