The two rivets I use most are 3/16 X 3/8 and 1/8 X 3/8. I rarely need longer than 3/8 and there is less waste. Thanks. Glad you like them. Thanks for letting me use you as a guinea pig to test out the patterns. The newer version are a bit wider across the back of the hand and the fingertips are all partially enclosed (last pic on page). Kith is an excellent customer. I would use 20 ga. Just make sure all the edges are sanded/filed well and flare or roll them. Depending on how many plates you use and how much overlap there is the weight probably wouldn't be more than the rat can handle for short periods. Post pictures when it is done. I just use a dulled chisel, with a slightly curved edged, clamped in my vise as a stake. The curve basically matches the shape of the dished cop.
