Does anyone know a good place to get jewlery making stuff for viking jewlery? Thanks for your help Do you want beads or chips, or larger chunks, and what quantity do you want? I have some I might be convinced to part with (chips and chunks, black, honey and amber colored amber). Not a lot of it, bu...

Glad you made it here Brage! Head down to the Meet and Greet and introduce yourself I just looked, and Michael du Buslingthorpe (he lives in Canton OH) did in the past make leather pole axe heads. Trying to remember who made the uber-cool one with Mamman-style tooling. Check through this thread http...

Our group is in the middle of some MAJOR recruiting (2 college towns with NO SCA presence). I am a warranted hw marshal in the Middle. With luck, Mike at Stonekeep, Otto (cuz he's pretty local ), Cet at RFH and other makers of quality armor will get the business, not the subpar import crap off eBay ...

A well done rebuilt motor will usualy outlast a new one. the trick is the well done part. Rebuilds on smaller motors (read less than 7-1/2 horse) are usualy more expensive than a new motor. I could recomend some local shops, but you are a bit far away. AaronCarter is correct. Where I was working at...

Re: Competitive vs. ‘How we fought’
This is meant to be a one-handed slashing spear to be used with a shield. Standard comments: “well that will never work...” “cool idea, you’ll never win...” “why do something stupid like that, it will never pay off in one on one?” “I’d never use...

Who would'nt have a love affair with Ti? really the stuff is amazing! I am looking around, I am pretty sure I don't have that kind of money, I just want to know. Stonekeep's spring is very attractive to me, and so are some of the pieces Bokalo does. Before I made a decision I wanted to see what els...

Out of curiousity? why the love affair with TI? All of Ice's stuff will be less expensive than TI.... I wou...
