review of Michael de Buslingthorpe

Purchased a pair of demis from Michael- Frieman index Price 5 of 5 Nice solid demis. Used, but I knew that. Excellent workmanship, and I think these will work nicely for a finger gauntlet project I have planned. Communication 5 of 5 I was the 'second chance' purchaser. I recieved a PM from Michael w...

Balin, that is incorrect. You can swing it , you just can't hit anyone with said swing. I happily swing choked up spear hafts HARD into shields, to knock people down. Can you swing with fiber poles too? Balin I like my spear, and don't want to buy another, so... But since it is against Society Stan...

Legal target if it is open i will try to hit it. Balin So is your armpit. Most of us avoid doing that to people we like, because we want them to be able to drink a beer later. We reap what we sow. Don't be a dick pretty much sums it up. I don't target groins, and no one I know well does either. Nope.. I've only ever run into one situation that wasn't my own stupidity (stepping into a thigh shot) where people could be inferred to be "targeting groins". It was a bridge at Pennsic.. 2...

Interested party here, but could you post a pic of the gaunts holding a weapon? I'd love to see how much coverage they give when in a fist. They are not strapped or anything, which makes it more difficult to get a good picture. If you don't mind one of just the gaunts around a rattan weapon, I can ...

a) You don't mention their construction material. I'm assuming they're aluminum because of the white paint/signage on the inside of the gaunts. Maybe I'm incorrect. Regardless that would help. They are mild steel. b) $120 seems to be a pretty high starting bid for gauntlets. New articulated steel g...

WTS Gauntlets

Editted to add photos- I were a large glove , but have 'short stubby fingers' and these would be a little long , but easily usable for me. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to do anything with them. No straps, no gloves, just the gaunts. That being said, they are for sale. I will run an aucti...

"Blackmoore's approach" And if you had them shooting indirect fire, would they be Blackmore's Rainbow? I choose not to fight CA. Why? because it doesn't thrill me. I 'may' become authorized in it (and possibly siege) just because. After I authorize, would I ever fight CA again? Probably n...
