I've been doing alot of readin around and such and hope after I move to mighigian I can get into learning how to make armor. My goal is to one day creat my 'perfect' suit. I know more or less what I want it to look like, but made from what? For those in the know, what would be the ideal metal to us...

That hat is based is based on a sandstone buff in Utah. It proves that there was cultural exchange between north America and western Utah in the 13th century, probably through the northern route discovered by Leif Eriksson some centuries earlier. I choose not to fight with CA.

As part of my tax next year to my Baron (whom is also my foster-knight)
will be CA x-bows (at least 2).

I choose not to fight with them, but would rather have the C people on my side than against me :wink:

In my case it was caused by my dumb self trying to wrap Sabah. Just what were you trying to wrap Sabah in, something frilly, I hope Sir (now Duke) Felix blew out his knee at a Rose Tourney during pick-ups, Baron Thorfinn hurt his knee at BBW. Other than that, a couple of finger owwies.

An ardox nail is fluted with a twist. Stay away from cc too (it means cement coated :wink: )

And remarkabley, the people that set it up all used warboards and short sword......

Audax, if you are going to skip rope, get a GOOD one, leatheroid with roller bearing handles if you can afford it.

A good rope, does make a difference.
