A couple of questions
Combat style-
SCA
WMA
BotN style
You gave us height and weight, but how about a head measurement (ie side to side, front to back and hat size)?
Might help you out

Not sure how it would work for time... But.. There was an image of Peter Dinkladge walking a dog wearing a T Shirt that said. "Keep calm, And demand trial by combat." So I was thinking a "Trial by Combat" tournament. Could be Double or Single elimination. The Challenger, here by known as the Accuse...

Klapvisor held for Hrolfr pending payment. Some silly stuff about "I have too many helms right now" (really, is 4 too many? ) . No four is not too many... I have six.. My other half says "You have too many helms" my response "No dear I have a helm for each kit"... She doesn't buy it though......

I'm a fan of breathing and not being paralyzed, so I'll always wear a gorget, even though they are one of the most uncomfortable pieces of armour I own. ^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^ I would never put a newbie out in my armor ( I wear barely over minimums). Matt and John are correct. Mass of the helm keeps the squishy gray blob from slamming into the walls. :P Simply adding an aventail to a helm (properly, of course) will add mass and historical accuracy (especially for basicnets) My kits total weight is 35#. 15# of that is helm and aventail.
