Took me a little while to find you in the those pics Wulfgar but I found ya. It was like a medieval where's wally when you weren't in your regular kit. If he'd carried the shield that was painted up with his own arms you'd have found him a damn sight quicker. A Combat advantage lasts the day. the P...

Thanks. Chef, What do you think of the overall styling? I suspect I'm closer to early 15th than 14th really. The design is original as far as I know. I've spent quite a lot of time looking at jewelery lately. The treasures of the Black Death exhibition at the Wallace was really cool, and thats where...

I had a chance to work in lost wax casting, and this is my first attempt. I made the wax model, the casting was done by Master Etienne Fevre, using a modern matrix and centrifugal casting set-up. The post casting cleanup and polishing is my work. I need to get a better burnishing tool to finish off ...

ISO Fencing Videos
Does anyone have any links to good SCA fencing videos.
Good kit, technique, location, and camerawork.
There's plenty of good Armoured video out there, but I don't know where to find fencing stuff. I'm sure its around, I just can't find it.
Cheers
Robert

Looking for Military service indenture contracts.
Does anyone know where I should look for examples of Military service indenture contracts? Online is ideal, but I'd be grateful of any leads. I understand what they are, but I want to read the original wording. I'm limited to Early modern & middle english, or translated texts. Cheers Robert

True, but having some lead in your pewter gives you a lot of leeway in both casting flow and malleability of the final piece. I'm stuck with lead free pewter. Medieval badge consumers were also, I suspect, of a different mindset to the modern re-enactor. When a pilgrim buys their cheap piece of tour...
