Jousting (Non SCA)
Since I have no experience at all in jousting, have not even ridden a horse. I am curious as to the different types of competition jousting that I have seen. Such as armour requirements, types of lances, where do you get started, that kinda th...

Well first, there is no such thing as heraldry police. We don't go around checking to make sure your heraldry is legal, registered, or even belongs to you. However, Stephen if you try to pass the heraldry you have as is, it will not be registered, it violates the rule of presumptous armoury, which b...

Non standard shield shapes (SCA)
Has anyone ever made or seen an SCA shield that was not one of the basic standard shapes; ie heater, round, kite, or roman? My armour is of late 15th century in design, and I would like to have a toureny shield that is more in keeping with that look. I have a small round shield for 1 on 1 matches an...

Flonzy, Actually, while the spring steel is the penultimate armour, it's cost is probably way higher than what Lloyd is looking for. When studying Marazzo do you concentrate only on the side sword work or do you also cover the rest as well, including dagger, wrestling and greatsword?
If so do you see the similarities between Fiore and Marrozo?
