Suggestions? Hmm...send it to me? Image

Why am I driving to work? Because it's 29 degrees here in the a.m. and about 40 when I get off of work, or so it seems.

Jumping rope in the ol' hauberk sounds good. It's 35lbs of extra weight I could use to help me lose 35 pounds around my gut.

Thanks for the tips. Keep 'em coming!

The hibernation ends. The fighting begins!

And so it begins. As another new year dawns, the Swordsman sets his sights on June 23, our annual tournament. But before we have our tournament, we're having our Winter War Games in mid-March which should be a blast. I have fought maybe 4 times since last June and am really out of it. Mentally, I've...

I was able to check out the pic by just refreshing this thread's page.

In order for an armourer to do this picture any kind of justice, your friend may have to pay a lot more then they intended. The sallet with bellows visor alone is pricey.

I wouldn't worry about it. The nail/rivet is already peened down pretty snugly, and the fact that they are overlapped so much and curved will keep them all going in a straight line I should think. If you purposely take a pair of pliers and twist the scale, then sure, you're going to have some proble...

Thanks Sasuke http://www.armourarchive.org/ubb/smile.gif Drake, I think the leather hinge is better because you can move your thumb in any direction, but with the hinge you can only move your thumb in two directions. [This message has been edited by Prince Of Darkmoor (edited 01-28-2002).]

Pictures of new finger gauntlets (more shiny stainless)

http://www.geocities.com/darkmoorarmoury/lcgaunts.html These are some finger gauntlets that my dad and I made for Lord Charles this weekend. We had the pieces cut out last weekend and took to finishing up the pair this weekend. The cuff and hand parts are 18ga stainless and the finger lames are 20g...

Copy the picture and paste it into MS Word or some other word processor.

Then use the mouse to resize the picture to fit in the entire 8.5 x 11 frame and print it out.

Swordsmanship Symposium in May again?

Has anyone heard word of another Swordsmanship Symposium happening in Livermore this year? At the end of the Symposium last year, Brian Price said that they were thinking about doing these every year (as opposed to every other year) and I definitely don't want to miss out. I checked chronique.com bu...

Okay, so I start reading the chapter then I just oogle the pretty pictures like some distracted chimp.
