Recommended Compounds for Buffing Wheel?
My dad and I hit Harbor Freight today and walked out with about $300 worth of stuff, including a buffer and some emeril(sp?) compound and a tube of tripoli compound. First, let me say that if anyone is contemplating buying a buffer, definitely do it - we couldn't be happier with ours. The finishing ...

Can anyone else see the thread Murdock posted? I can't see the title of it, and when I move my mouse over it, nothing happens. Weirdness.

Anyone ever looking for a horn should bookmark this site. You can get horns that hold 2 ounces of liquid or 2 gallons of liquid. Other horns available too.

IIRC, soaking your maille in lemon juice overnight and leaving it to dry will thoroughly darken the maille. If you want to tumble a shirt (or anything heavier than a pound) do it with a barrel (or 5 gallon bucket) and a large hill. Driers don't like it when you shove maille in them http://www.armour...

We'd probably just want the four tanks cut at about 3' long, unfinished. We've got the welder and grinder here http://www.armourarchive.org/ubb/smile.gif If the shipping for the tanks is going to be outrageous (as I suspect it will be) then perhaps they can just be cut to 1' long. ------------------...

Hey! That's pretty damned cool! I used Mike Yancy's pattern in the Pattern Archive to make my first sabaton. For anyone interested, it fits over a size 10 tennis show nicely as is. For anything large, you just need to make the heel plate larger. Very nice work Sasuke, as always http://www.armourarch...
