Sam, I'm pretty much available after 10:00 pm every night. Earlier is tougher, as Monday's is armourer's night, Tues is populace, Wed is night with Woman, Thurs is Fighter practice, and so is Sunday.

Btw, Siloflex is a brand name for a chemical tubing... something like ASTM 2239 or such... used as tubing for water lines I believe. Hard yet flexible, and won't freeze as easily as metal pipes if I understand correctly.

My two cents... before hardening, the metal is softer and more pliable, easier to deform permanently. After hardening, its sands and polishes easier due to the increased brittleness. I typically grind out the hammer marks before hardening, and then do everything else afterwards... so far it seems fa...

Take phone book. Look in yellow pages for Steel Suppliers. If there are none, check in yellow pages for welding shop. Look one up, call them, and ask them where they get their steel.

Tell that to Sir Connor Image Next pair is for him... these were the prototype/donation pair... I'm fairly happy that I got them done so quick and that they turned out reasonably strong... next pair will be better...

Yah, the vinegar will pull it off overnight... however the 60-100 grit flap wheel will pull it off within seconds... quit being the lazy beeyatch and sand those puppies...

Another Blatant Armour Pic

Well, I finished these up earlier this week as a auction donation. They are 4130 hardened steel crusader elbows. They are medium sized (just barely fit me) and weight a total of four ounces...
