Half-swording
Ok, I've seen now four or five requests for "half-swording" to be allowed. I don't quite understand why though. If at any point in time I grabbe halfway up on my weapon, I shorten it by that much. Why bother? The period reason for half-swording was for an effect thrust through a lightly- or un-armou...

The Vicar and Vicaress of the group (Barony of the Eldern Hills, Lawton OK) have assured me that their populace will have check out the pawn shops (and I plan on it next weekend). Stolen! (Cross posted to off-topic)
We apologize for the bandwidth, but my lady I and could use your help. Last night while dining @ an Outback steakhouse in Lawton, some person(s) stole my armor tote and our clothing tote out of the back of my truck. While we typically throw them in the back seat while dining, we had forgotten to las...

Morgan, you absolutely gotta go to the Mission Practice. I went there two or three years ago (its what convinced me to try a smaller shield) and I had a wonderful time right up until then-Count Uther broke my helm. Fighting is good, hard, fast and fun.... Barn door shields (Extracted from Off-topic)
Symon Fitz Gilbert said in the off-topic board <B><I> I have a question for you, How often do you fight/practice heavy combat and where are you located??? http://www.armourarchive.org/ubb/bump.gif Well, last night my armour buddy came over, and after looking over the helm, we decided that we just didn't a) like the lines of the two side peices and b) didn't think we'd planished the side peices well enough..
