IMO? Video tape yourself fighting. I have made the most strides in my fighting by sitting down after practices working through tape figuring out what I did WRONG. Every now and then I got the benefit of seeing something right, but 90% of the time, it was something wrong.

And I've seen very few SCA fighters who DON'T stand in one place. So I guess it's all relative to individual exposure and experience.
