Can you tell me a little more about your Oxy/Propane rig? How much did it cost, where did you buy it? I've been web searching and not having much luck with oxy/propane info. I use a victor brand torch- I'd have to check the rose bud size- it's one of the bigger ones and I had to order it in from my...

How about by checking for degrees from an accredited institution? Certification by trade organizations. Businesses and professions policing themselves, instead of looking to gooberment to stick an oar in and take a slice of the pie. That works in some instances but needs to be balanced against the ...

Any of the above. However, what are the fitness benefits of iai? What if some study said sitting in seiza was bad for your knees? Would people then be de-certified for making their students do traditional kata? Make no claims re' fitness and iai and your fine as the law is written. If, on the other...

Isn't it the duty and business of the insurance company to determine whom they should or will cover? Isn't it the responsibility of the client to find out the qualifications of his trainers? If the state of NJ authorizes a quack who injures someone through negligence, is the state then liable for s...

I agree with the above but it is important to point out that the bascinet of 1350 was a different form ( forms really) than the bascinet of say 1390. Mid-century shows bascinets of a variety of from from round to pointed (with the apex of the point being located in various spots relative the the cen...

It's very possible that the legs fit you too loosely in the thighs- any significant gap between the cuisse and you leg will bleed off a significant amount of force and make shots very difficult to calibrate. A second possibility is that the leg shots your getting hit with are not as stout as you bel...

Cet, the one that I have open is one that only has a few circles of stitching (forget what the different ones are called). I also got a couple at a yard sale (still in packaging), that have the multiple rows of stitching. At least knowing I had the wrong stuff explains why it didn't work so well. T...

Brow mounted spring pins work great for side pivots but I've yet to see one work satisfactorily on klappvisor. The spring arrangement on Klaus' site is for removing the visor and hinge assembly so that it may be changed out to a bar grill not for keeping the visor closed during combat. For klappviso...
