Use an automotive trim or weather strip adhesive. preferably a 3M product

PS the battery in my caliper is dead so I don't have the rivet measurements -they are roughly 3/32.

It's likely that in the circumstances described that the halberdiers would hack repeatedly until sure of their result and not singly but as near simultaneously as their opportunity would allow; several blows by several men at once with fear/hatred/adrenaline fueling them.

IN 10 yrs the only non-consumable replacement has been one on/of switch which waqs maybe $25.00 IIRC. At this p...

Some of the chemicals in WD40 seem to breakdown the material in the scotch brite pads which helps form a slurry of abrasive and lubricant making for faster cutting and a more even finish. I usually use the green scotchbrite over a polished 120grit or finer finish.

I've tried it in a pinch and it seemed to work fine. IIRC Adam from Whit reMountain said that he prefers it as it gives him a hotter and flatter bead.

They've got to come up with some alternativeds given the current shortage of helium.

The only problem with that is that aluminum is closer to period than fiberglass and epoxy. Doesn't look as period, or as sexy for that matter.

I disagree. Cloth and glue is cloth and glue be it linnen and gesso or glass fiber and polyester ( or whatever resin V uses).
