I swear it wasn't intentional Will! Honest! I know everyone gasped when it stuck home and true ... but I swear I was aiming at yer chest! Honest! It was a beautiful shot (similar to a TOW missile seeking out a T-80's sweet spot ... but ...) I swear I'm not a cross dressin' agent of NOW! Honest!!!! O...

Ohhh o.k. ... I read the thread title incorrectly (saw trainer rather than trailer) and thought someone had just had a bad day at the dojo! "modifying trainer balls" ... hmmm ... that's gotta be interesting ... eh?! ------------------ "His troops would follow him anywhere ... but only out of curious...

Well then ... let's see some pics of yer kit and we'll see if we can find some stuff to "fill it out" as it were. Iain Ruadh This coming from a 14th Century guy who's still tryin' to fill out all his gear as a simple campaign soldier! (and in my mind I still have a "long way to go!") ---------------...

Hell, I don't need anything that fancy, just something to conceal my combat boots (thank you Uncle Sugar for the busted ankles). What was the askin' price? Off line response works if you don't feel comfortable with public .... then again, I wouldn't go down any dark alley with those pretty lil' thin...

I'd recommend Meister Dru. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/meisterdru/index.htm Period, great custom work, and damn comfortable (kinda the Lexus of period footware)! They do have a higher price tag mine ran $110, but I think they're well worth it (you get what you pay for). They really fit the bill if...

Dude! Just saw them in the other thread ... William you are one lucky guy. Looks to have a been a damn long wait, but with the extra dagger and stuff thrown in to sweeten the pot, it looks to have been worth it. You'd best keep an eye on that stuff unless you'd like to try yer hand at a quick game o...

Thorvald: Are you associated with House Ironwolf from the Midrealm (SCA)? Just curious as you have the same charge as Sir Osric Ironwolf. I saw from your pages (very nice I might add) that you play with Adrian Empire and that's what threw me for the loop. Also, where did you pick up the rounded buc...

Mainly a neck guard. Helps keep thrusts from skipping up into the throat. It's one of of those things that's an anachronism, but I know alot of "earlier" period guys who swear by them and refuse to put on a helm without them. Kinda the earlier period version of an aventail. ------------------ "His t...

Right now I'm using the broad head Tremont nails (as it's the closest to the exant ones I've found). The "wedge" style is very late period and doesn't come close to the "clip and flatten" period style nails. I haven't been able to find a blacksmith that is willing to make some of the various exant p...
