Here's a quick 'cheat sheet' for mm thickness to 'oz' conversion. Helm arrived. Exactly as described and in pics. Great communications (even with chaos of postal service thrown into the mix). Mac even threw in the Windrose chinstrap kit he'd gotten for it. Easy transaction and would recommend dealings with Mac most readily.

here's a quick pic of a spare for the glass lamp I picked up from Master 'Arab Boy' last Pennsic. Same info was given to me when I first got it. water then oil in the lamp .. singed the start of the new wick and then let it soak up the oil before lighting. Agreed ... linen for my arming coat for shell and padding. My helm is also a closed weave shelll with horse hair padding. This beats anyghing I've found in my modern military and our current standards. Pics are availabel upon request ... if it worked for the black prince, it can't bee too bad

Breast, knees and elbows arrived. Elbows look good. Forming the breast into shape with Massa Willie and Bjarki's help ( upper chest straps way too far out for my belly ... 54" chest v. 40" waist) and will ship back asap.
