Heyya,
I've seen 1/2 gauntlets with a flap of material <semi ridgid > covering the fingers pass with flying colors. Hope this helps.
Cheers

Garreth, That is one reason I jumped on it so quickly. Figured there was NO way they were gonna stay that price for very long. Total with shipping came to about $172. Don't think I will find a deal like that again for a while. If I do post the pic, ya'll gotta promise not to point and yell "FARB, FA...

Welp,
Got it by UPS today. Bought an Xtra Large one off ebay the other day when the link was put on here. Price on E-bay was $100 less then on there site. Small weave, yea, but looks very sharp. I am fairly impressed. No missing links either.

Merry X-mas to me... Looks like I got the second one they put up. Been eyeing these for quite some time now. Now that the measurements suit me better, decided now or never.
I'll post after modifications I have in mind.
Cheers

Hello again, I purchased one of the first runs of the "carmel" colored plates. They look mildly like untreated leather < I do mean mildly >. I took an orbital sander to scuff up the surface to give a rougher apperance. I would wear mine with a lightly padded aketon. Worked find. Give a bit more padd...

If your going to use them.. Stay away from the bright colors and go with either the black or brown. One or two of the metalic colored ones look alright. The holes fit 550 para cord nicely. A single knot will not pull out. You should have no issues with cord fraying. They are somewhat thick and will ...

Hello Wil, I looked over them and gave them a test run with His Grace, Duke Tomuki. I didn't actually purchase one myself. I do admit, you can't hit like a pillow and expect people to take them. Not like the heavier mace heads that require 3" of movement to gain the nessesary momentum. But then did ...

Mandrake Mace Head Review
I recently looked over the foam mace heads that Mandrake sells. They have a authentic profile and approprate size. They are extreemly light, much lighter then any other mace-type-material I have encounterd. While these are very light and squishy, they DO hit with authority. They seem to compact a li...

hello, I've always had good luck with quilting the base fabric first then cut my patterns out of the quilted material. Yea it wastes a bit, but you tend to get a more accruate measurement < IMHO >. You will also want to pre-shrink any of the material you can. I know some of the cotton batting can be...
